| Qualifications and experience | Tony has a B.A Degree in Arts and Diploma of Education from MACQUARIE University. He is fully qualified as an English/ History teacher, and has taught in both public and private schools. He has also taught extensively in universities in Asia, holding the Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA). He is also an IELTS Examiner. |

| About Tony | Born and raised in Sydney, Tony likes to quote WB Yeats - “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”.
He loves to watch their eyes light up when they learn to read. It opens a whole new world for children – and adults! Gentle, creative, supportive, patient, and engaging, Tony has worked in teaching and learning for over 20 years. He is concerned about the literacy rate, and feels he can help people become confident and relaxed in both reading and writing. He is interested in learning Asian languages himself, and enjoys living on the northern beaches and eating noodles. |
